The increasing need to living a highly sustainable life is growing now than ever before. This can be done by bringing down the emission like CO2 and energy consumption there by increase the efficiency of the energy resources that are available now to man. A large number of ideas and many efforts today are in the direction of helping to preserve the resources of energy and make more use of the renewable sources of energy. Most organizations today are following the example set by supergreen hosting and are making an effort to be eco –friendly. Some of their endeavor includes using less carbon emitting machinery, using energy resources that are environmentally safe like the solar panels and the wind mills to generate power. Though there is very little information on the impact of the damage to the environment caused by the web hosting industry there is also very little information on the ethics and methods of creating eco friendly websites. On an average it is said that each year an individual with the use of his various electrical gadget emit a minimum of 12tonnes of CO2, and this statistics itself is a proof of the urgency in the need to do something to save the planet for future generations.
